From 14 June to 4 August, Hard Rock Cafe is hosting its annual World Burger Tour competition, where guests can taste new, locally inspired burgers in more than 100 cafes worldwide.
Hard Rock Cafes worldwide are once again hosting the annual World Burger Tour competition. During this recurring competition, Hard Rock chefs are challenged to create unique burgers inspired by regional cultures and personal taste preferences. The innovative burger creations can be sampled at participating cafes from 14 June to 4 August. Hard Rock Cafe Amsterdam is competing this year with the 'Nonna's Burger', developed by team member Giovanni. He combined classic Hard Rock flavours with his Italian roots to create a burger with provolone cheese, rocket, basil oil and aubergine parmigiana, prepared according to the traditional recipe of his own 'Nonna' (Italian for grandma).
A special first this year is the involvement of chef, content creator and brand partner Olivia Tiedemann, who acts as mentor and judge. During the preparations, she worked closely with the participating chefs, sharing her culinary expertise and burger techniques to take each recipe to the next level.

"It was incredibly fun to work with these talented chefs from all over the world. They all put so much passion and creativity into their recipes. I am impressed by how they have transformed classic burger concepts with their unique local influences and personal stories."
Based on both Tiedemann's input and sales figures, the five best burger recipes will be selected and announced later this summer. These five finalists will then be temporarily available worldwide in all Hard Rock Cafes. Fans will thus have a chance to taste the top burgers before the big winner is finally chosen.
