Whether it is creative designs, innovative materials or timeless designs, Fine Dining & Living offers several tableware collections and a wide selection of decorative elements to suit the needs of any hospitality business. The Geel-based company operates globally, drawing inspiration from international cultures and dining customs to create a unique experience.
For more than 30 years Fine Dining & Living, formerly known as Aerts s.a., has stood for a high-quality and diverse range of tableware and accessories for the catering and retail sectors. Traditionally, the company was mainly known for high-quality white porcelain, in recent years, with success, also with coloured porcelain. The company operates in some 40 countries and participates in leading trade fairs and events, including Maison&Objet, Host Milano, Ambiente and Horeca Expo at Flanders Expo Ghent. With three different hospitality brands, Fine Dining & Living responds to the specific needs of each customer and strives to make the dining experience as refined as possible. "The Fine2Dine, BonBistro and Chic brands each have their own target group and are completely separate," explains marketing and communications officer Lynne Verrydt. "Within each brand, we launch multiple collections. Whether you own a Michelin-starred restaurant, a bistro or a hotel, with us you will find something that suits you anyway."
In addition, Fine Dining & Living focuses on creating unique living experiences. "With S|P Collection, we offer a range of products, including vases, cushions, mirrors and small furniture such as side tables and open shelves. This brand targets individuals who want to experience the boutique hotel feel at home. S|P Collection is also in demand at boutique hotels."
Within tableware brands, Fine2Dine stands out for its fresh, creative approach. The collections are made exclusively of porcelain and the brand closely follows trends. Quality and design are paramount. "With Fine2Dine, we are mainly aiming at restaurants and hotels looking for a high-quality product that brings an original touch to their establishment," Lynne stresses. "The Umi range reflects this on-trend content perfectly: influenced by Japanese cuisine, Umi combines soft and strong textures with dark green and dark blue tones."
The unique designs are not the only thing Fine2Dine excels at. "For specific collections, we offer a two-year chip guarantee, which covers 'edge chipping'. For maximum peace of mind with our customers."
With BonBistro, Fine Dining & Living has a brand that specifically caters to bistros. Lynne: "Whereas Fine2Dine presents itself as high-end, BonBistro is slightly more accessible, both in terms of price range and style. The collections are more playful. As a material, we mainly use porcelain. By using special techniques, such as digital printing, we can reduce costs without compromising on design. We recently launched the new Solido range: a fresh collection with a ribbed structure that adds an extra dimension to each piece."
Finally, CHIC, also known as CHIC Tableware, is a brand that brings timeless elegance to the table. With elegant colours, such as white, black or gold, and unique shapes, CHIC's collections are designed for premium restaurants. "In a starred restaurant, the plate should not be too distracting. It should be a beautiful canvas that takes the dining experience to the next level. Perla is a good example of this. This iconic collection combines natural beauty with new influences." The plates are made from SiloxiHT, a unique blend of high-quality materials. This makes them particularly strong, hard-wearing and extremely light. "The combination of its durable nature and refined execution means that chefs and venue staff love working with CHIC."
