Lightspeed launches Kitchen Display System 2.0: The 'secret' ingredient for efficient kitchen management

Paper kitchen receipts and food waste a thing of the past with more accurate kitchen management on a single screen

Checkout and payment platform Lightspeed Commerce Inc (NYSE | TSX: LSPD) ("Lightspeed"), announces the launch of the intuitive Kitchen Display System (CDB), specifically designed to meet the high demands for efficient kitchen management and improve communication between kitchen and operation. The digital kitchen display replaces paper receipts and allows orders to be updated in real time. This speeds up preparation times, reduces errors and improves the overall workflow that also reduces food waste.

With 61 per cent of the Dutch eating out at least once a month and 12 per cent even on a weekly basis, restaurants are increasingly turning to technology to reduce costs, improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction. Key features of Lightspeed's CDB are:

• Offline mode: The CDB continues to function even if the internet connection is lost, so kitchen operations are never disrupted by outages or network failures.
• Real-time updates: All order changes are immediately displayed on the CDB, preventing errors and ensuring that the kitchen is always working with the most up-to-date information.
