From today, The Harbour Club The Hague will be closed for a few weeks, turning into a brand new concept: Holy Fok - Asian Kitchen by The Harbour Club. From mid-March, guests here can enjoy dishes such as Kai Pao, Sizzling Beef, Mochi & Matcha, but signature dishes such as Ebi Fry Maki, Peking Duck and Beef Tataki will also remain on the menu. This restaurant concept brings a new and accessible approach to Asian cuisine, with an updated pricing structure that is accessible to all. True The Harbour Club fans need not fear, as The Harbour Club's signature eye-catchers, such as the famous booths and Selwyn Senatori's neon pop-art, will remain.
The name Holy Fok is a nod to 'Ho Le Fook', which means 'happiness in your mouth' in Asian. It reflects the experience awaiting guests: refined Asian flavours, surprising combinations and a contemporary atmosphere. The signature Harbour Club ambiance will be retained, but styled with typical Asian elements. The menu and drinks menu will also undergo a change and will appeal to a wider audience with sympathetic prices.
Owner Joost Verhoeven is upbeat about the new plans: "We see that the demand for high-quality but affordable Asian kitchens continues to grow. With Holy Fok! - Asian Kitchen by The Harbour Club we capitalise on this trend by offering a sophisticated yet accessible menu. Guests can enjoy authentic Asian flavours in a stylish setting, with no surprises on the bill. This concept opens the doors to a wider audience and offers a new, fresh experience in The Hague."
Although this new concept will bring changes, the soul of The Harbour Club will remain. Popular events such as the Friends of The Harbour Club and Ladies Night will remain.
