One support product, two applications: the flexible, free-standing frame for terrace and pergola awnings from Warema offers customisable shade solutions for the hospitality industry, public areas, protected facades or residential properties. The application spectrum is as wide as the implementation options - one- or two-sided can be equipped and can be mounted with foundations, on the facade or with ballast boxes.

Freestanding sun and weather protection solutions are often in demand, especially in the outdoor gastronomy sector. In many cases, however, structural conditions or local regulations do not allow an awning for reliable sun protection to be fixed directly to the façade or anchored into the ground. Even in private residential construction, structural conditions can make mounting to the façade difficult, for example in prefabricated houses, in timber-frame construction, in listed buildings or if there are visual constraints. Warema's new free-standing patio frame meets all requirements and enables harmonious adaptation to the façade architecture. Its special feature: it can be used for pergolas, cassette and terrace screens.
The free-standing patio frame can be equipped on one or two sides and is available in widths of up to seven metres and system heights of up to 4 metres. If the free-standing terrace frames are installed side by side in a row and equipped on two sides, even large open spaces can be shaded: with a double-sided terrace frame with cassette awning Terrea K60 with a width of seven metres and a projection of one metre, a total of 56 m² can be protected from the sun. The awnings can be extended and retracted as a unit using the WMS radio system, regardless of the number of free-standing patio frames. Based on the Warema colour world, the colour of the powder-coated patio frame can be freely chosen to match the overall concept.

Up to four designer radiant heaters can be installed for outdoor enjoyment even in cooler weather. Pipes for the power supply can be discreetly integrated into the upright and traverse, and it is also possible to integrate a power outlet into the upright of the free-standing patio frame.
Installation is on concrete foundations - or by means of aggravation boxes that can be flexibly positioned. Aggravating boxes have the advantage that the free-standing terrace frame can always be dismantled without any residual markings. This is a particularly important aspect in gastronomy, for example in pedestrian zones, where the ground surface must remain free out of season.
The design of the weighting boxes for the free-standing patio frame is identical to that of the Perea pergola awnings. Thus, both products can be freely combined and nevertheless remain in a harmonious whole.
