Summio Parcs is taking a new step in its growth strategy with the addition of Summio Eifelpark Kronenburger See to its portfolio. The holiday park, situated in the German Eifel region on the shores of Kronenburger See, will be the first overseas park in Summio Parcs’ portfolio. From 2027, Summio will manage the letting of the 132 holiday homes at the park.
With this expansion, Summio Parcs is strengthening its position as a growing provider of holiday destinations both at home and abroad. “The addition of Summio Eifelpark Kronenburger See is in line with our ambition to further expand our offering with holiday parks in attractive locations, where guests can fully enjoy quality time together,” says Guy Benink, director of Summio Parcs. Earlier this year, Vakantiepark Schaijk was also added to the rental portfolio.

The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for an active holiday all year round. Walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers can enjoy the varied Eifel landscape to the full, whilst Kronenburger See is ideal for swimming and leisure activities. The region is also attractive in winter, with various opportunities for downhill and cross-country skiing just a short distance from the park. “Right from the very first contact, Summio gave us the confidence that they are the right partner for this park. Their personalised approach, direct lines of communication and decisive way of working give us great confidence in a long-term and successful partnership,” says Leo Daverveld, the park’s director.

Summio Parcs will be managing the letting of the holiday homes for stays from January 2027 onwards. The park will continue to be managed by the current operator. It is expected that the accommodation will be available to book this summer via Summio Parcs’ booking channels. Holidaymakers will therefore be able to book their stay in this beautiful German holiday region well in advance.
