Accor, a leading global hospitality group, has appointed Karelle Lamouche as CEO for Europe and North Africa for its Premium, Midscale and Economy brands. In her new role, Karelle will lead Accor's operations in the region, which includes more than 3,000 hotels in 40+ countries, representing approximately 40% of Accor's entire global network.
Karelle's appointment follows nearly 30 years of service at Accor, most recently as Chief Operating Officer for Europe and North Africa, after serving as Chief Commercial Officer for the group's Premium, Midscale and Economy brands. Since joining Accor in 1998, Karelle has risen through the ranks from hotel positions – including General Manager – to country and global leadership roles in operations, marketing, communications and commercial functions.
