Leonardo Hotels is proud to announce the appointment of two new leaders within its hotel portfolio. Jesse Vergeer has been appointed Hotel Manager of Savoy Hotel Rotterdam from March, succeeding Olaf Vieth who has been appointed General Manager of Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center.
Olaf Vieth brings a wealth of international experience to his new position. Previously, he was General Manager of the Savoy Hotel in Rotterdam, where he concluded a successful period with impressive commercial performance. Under his leadership, the hotel experienced significant growth in group and corporate nights and achieved the highest guest ratings ever.
With a career spanning the Netherlands, UK, Spain, Dubai and Poland, Vieth has broad experience in the hotel industry. He played a key role in two pre-openings, expertise he is now using to take Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center to the next level. "I look forward to making the first Leonardo Hotel within the Benelux the very best with the upcoming renovation!" said Vieth.
Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center is a stylish city hotel tucked away in a classic Amsterdam building in a quiet but central location. Jesse Vergeer recently started as Hotel Manager at Savoy Hotel Rotterdam. With a background in Tourism Management at NHTV Breda (now Breda University) and extensive experience in event and hospitality management, Vergeer specialised in F&B at Pulitzer Amsterdam, among others. Since September 2023, he joined Leonardo Hotels as Operational Project Manager, where he focused on hotel renovations and rebranding projects. Savoy Hotel Rotterdam was part of the 12 Eden Hotel Group hotels acquired last year by the Leonardo Hotels Group. Later this year, Savoy Hotel Rotterdam will be rebranded to Leonardo Hotel Rotterdam Savoy.
