The Hoxton, Amsterdam celebrates 10th anniversary and Lotti's gets spicy twist

The Hoxton, Amsterdam is celebrating its 10th anniversary on the Herengracht. Since its opening, the hotel has become the beating heart of the neighbourhood: a meeting place for locals, a place where travellers feel at home and where stories emerge among five beautifully restored canal houses.

The Hoxton, Amsterdam is housed in a building with a rich history. In the 17th century, it was the home of the mayor of Amsterdam. Two iconic Biggy rooms bring this heritage to life: Floral, once the mayor's living room, and Fruity, his former bedroom, which still display portraits of him and his wife.

Long before The Hoxton moved in, the location consisted of five separate canal houses that were eventually brought together into one. You can still see that: five house numbers, five front doors, all in the iconic Nine Streets. Upstairs, you'll even find a unique attic room, complete with original beams and a bath, which overlooks the Singel.

Over the past decade, The Hoxton has seen it all: from fantastic never to forget parties and creative room takeovers to everything in between. This year, The Hoxton, Amsterdam was even an official Amsterdam Dance Event venue (ADE). At The Hox, it's never boring.

Lotti's Restaurant & Bar, the vibrant heart of the hotel, has welcomed countless locals, travellers and famous faces. Names like Drake, Paris Hilton, Jamie Oliver, Doutzen Kroes and even Her Majesty Queen Máxima found their way here. Moreover, there is the legendary photobooth, which draws a queue of people every day.

For the next decade, Lotti's gets a fresh spin on the much-loved concept, with playful, Latin-inspired influences. Things will literally be spiced up. Expect vibrant new menus, surprising (and spicy) cocktails and energetic activations, all inspired by the passion and rhythm of Latin America, of course with that typical Hox wink.
