The story of Schrofenblick Alpen Resort is one of continuous evolution, while also honouring its roots. The resort was founded in 1970 as an inn by the Schneeberger family. Later, it was taken over by the Eberl family and converted into a charming hotel. Several renovations over the decades have transformed it into a modern resort with holiday apartments. 

Following an extensive renovation project last year, the resort has finally reopened its doors to guests. The transformation included a complete renovation of the main building, with a reception area, wellness oasis, bar and restaurant. A completely new building with state-of-the-art facilities was also constructed. All this while retaining the authentic Tyrolean spirit that has characterised this special place for more than five decades.

When selecting materials for their apartments, the resort prioritised both aesthetics and practicality. “We created a modern Tyrolean atmosphere and went for the ultimate in comfort and functionality,” explains Managing Director Jos Smits. 

As an example of this commitment to excellence, they started at the foundation of the apartments. For the apartments and restaurant, they selected flooring from Coretec® Floors“ premium XL-END Collection. ”Luxury starts from the ground up, so we started with the flooring and looked for something that perfectly matched our vision,“ Smits continues. ”We ended up with Coretec® because it is exceptionally easy to maintain and at the same time offers the luxurious look and feel that our guests expect." 

And they didn't stop there. “All apartments have a terrace or balcony, allowing our guests to reconnect with nature at any time of the day. The kitchens are also fully equipped to ensure a carefree stay. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with walk-in rain showers – to offer our guests that extra touch of luxury.” 

Each apartment exudes refined comfort. The pinnacle of luxury can be found on the top floor of the new Ahorn building. In the Ahorn Penthouse, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains from their private terrace.
