Featuring a Peruvian-inspired picantería, sandwich bar, wine bar, a much-loved local landmark and the brand's first-ever nightclub
The Hoxton has arrived in Ireland! This is The Hoxton's first hotel in this country and it is located in the iconic former Central Hotel, a historic Victorian venue that has been meticulously restored. Located in the bustling Creative Quarter, on Exchequer Street, The Hoxton, Dublin has 129 rooms; an open lobby with a bar, lounge and impressive Viking-era archaeological finds; the Peruvian-inspired restaurant Cantina Valentina; the New York sandwich bar and wine bar Dollars; the beloved The Library Bar; and The Hoxton's first-ever nightclub, Groundwork.

Upon entering, guests immediately get a glimpse of the site's rich history. During renovations, archaeologists discovered traces of Dublin's early settlements, from a Viking tribal site to medieval coins and the remains of Dubh Linn, the tidal pool that gave the city its name. These finds are carefully displayed in the hotel.
The lobby lounge is a relaxing place for guests and locals alike, with comfortable armchairs, spacious sofas and large windows. Brass chandeliers, sculptural sconces and a stone fireplace create a warm, homely atmosphere.
The 129 rooms, spread over four floors, follow the recognisable Hox style: Snug, Cosy (and Cosy Up), Roomy and Biggy. Inspired by Ireland's autumnal landscape, the rooms combine warm neutral tones with accents of moss green, rust brown and deep blue. Velvet, leather and wood bring warmth, while custom-made rugs, cushions and botanical motifs allude to the building's Victorian heritage.
Locally selected artworks, from Irish street photography to abstract pieces, give each room a unique character.
Cantina Valentina, the Peruvian-inspired restaurant and bar on the ground floor, offers a vibrant taste experience combining the warmth of a traditional picantería with a modern twist. The menu, inspired by the picanterías of Peru, offers classics such as the Lima Burger, ceviche, croquetas, marinated steak skewer, slow-cooked lamb dishes and grilled fish with aji miso sauce.
The bar offers a selection of South American drinks, including the margarita Poco Picante, five different pisco sours and a carefully curated wine list of South American wines that perfectly match the dishes. All drinks are served in artisanal glassware.
The sandwich bar and wine bar Dollars brings a relaxed atmosphere that moves effortlessly from day to night. By day, classic New York deli favourites are on the menu, such as Got Beef?, The Hu$tler and Gold $tandard, served with soup and homemade pickles. In the evening, the bar transforms into a wine bar with oysters and small dishes such as tostadas, crostinis, charcuterie and farmhouse cheese.
The interior has an industrial feel but is warm and cosy, with light boxes, wooden details and a mosaic floor that adds tactility to the sleek powder blue laminate and stainless steel bar.

The beloved The Library Bar returns, restored with care and character. Once the favourite spot for a toasty and a pint, it is now once again one of Dublin's most inviting spots. AIME Studios' design honours the bar's rich history, with original details including high ceilings with ornate detailing, tall windows and an elegant marble fireplace. Bookcases frame cosy seating areas with velvet sofas and leather armchairs, while traditional artwork, soft lighting and gentle fabrics create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Tucked under street level, Groundwork will open The Hoxton's first nightclub in the early months of 2026. The club is designed in an industrial style, with grey plaster walls evoking the impression of cast concrete and chrome finishes throughout the building. Sculptural arched passageways divide the club into different zones, where so-called chain curtains create a subtle theatrical atmosphere.
The Hoxton always collaborates with local brands and creative talents. The Dublin location opens with the Hox Gallery, a space that showcases emerging local artists.
The hotel's Best Of shop offers products from local makers, brands and artisans.

The Hoxton is located in Dublin's ‘Creative Quarter’ district, close to Drury Street and the St. George's Street Arcade, where local boutiques, vintage shops and local artists can be found, as well as a lively mix of cafés, wine bars and eateries. Guests can easily explore Dublin icons such as Temple Bar, Grafton Street and Trinity College, or relax in St Stephen's Green park. With such a central location, The Hoxton is the ideal base for exploring Dublin on foot.
