Slagharen to open region's first dual-experience attraction in 2026

A 30-metre-high attraction that offers both a spectacular over-the-head thrill and a family-friendly adventure.

Slagharen Amusement & Holiday Park continues to add new adventures to the Wild West. With the arrival of a spectacular new attraction in spring 2026, it will literally turn visitors' expectations upside down.

The 30-metre-high attraction will be the first in the region with two unique levels of experience and marks a major milestone in the park's developments.

“This is a real gamechanger for Slagharen,” says Sander de Haas, general manager of Attraction & Holiday Park Slagharen. “We are introducing a type of attraction never before seen in the region - a unique combination of height, innovation and storytelling that will appeal to families and thrillseekers alike. This is a special moment for our park as well as for our guests.”

Two adventures, one legendary attraction 

The new attraction offers visitors a choice between two completely different experiences:

• Full inversion mode: an intense adventure full of adrenaline, with full rotations, dynamic movements and breathtaking views for visitors seeking the ultimate thrill.
• Swinging Mode: a softer, floating experience specially designed for families or visitors who want to enjoy height and views - without going over the top.

This set-up makes it the most versatile attraction in Slagharen's history, appealing to a wide audience and different preferences.

An adventure that pushes boundaries

With a height of 30 metres, this attraction will be an impressive new highlight within the park's skyline. The full theming of the attraction and queue will seamlessly blend in with the Gold Rush and Red Bandits Adventure themes. From the moment visitors enter the queue, the story unfolds and they will be drawn into the adventure they have chosen.
