Summio Parcs - the holiday parks group founded in 2023, created following Roompot's acquisition of Landal - is starting the new year with immediate growth. Several holiday parks have decided to extend their cooperation with the organisation. In addition, the portfolio has been expanded with a new park and further growth is planned - for both rentals and operations.
After a two-and-a-half-year collaboration, five holiday parks have chosen to extend their contract with Summio Parcs. The positive experience is mainly due to the personal contact, the accessible approach and the flexible and decisive action of the growing holiday parks group. Summio Parcs sees each park as a unique location and holiday destination and this is noticeable.
Jan Telgen, chairman of the owners‘ association of Summio Buitenplaats de Marke van Ruinen: ’”We are happy to continue our cooperation with Summio Parcs. From our guests we receive positive reviews and see increases in the number of realised holiday bookings. In addition, we experience the contact with Summio Parcs as very pleasant. We can always approach them and everything is negotiable."
In addition to the contract extensions, Summio Parcs' portfolio has expanded over the past year with Summio Bosparc De Hoevenaer in Hoeven, North Brabant. In addition, Summio Parcs is in talks with several other holiday parks at home and abroad about both rentals and operations.
Summio Parcs was formed in June 2023 following the acquisition of landal by roompot. This amalgamation could only take place because 30 holiday parks had to be divested on the instructions of the Authority Consumer & Market (ACM). These parks were then transferred to the Dormio Group, with a number of parks being added to the Dormio Resorts & Hotels brand and the majority under the new Summio Parcs brand. At the time, the parks involved did not have the choice themselves to join the new brand. This is precisely why Summio Parcs says it is a positive development that more and more parks are now voluntarily choosing to continue the cooperation.
“We are very pleased that these parks once again consciously choose Summio Parcs,” said Guy Benink, managing director of Summio Parcs. “It confirms the confidence in our cooperation and in the direction we are taking together.”
