The finalists of the Independent Hotel Show Awards have been announced. There are three categories involved: Independent Hotel of the Year, Independent Hotelier of the Year and Best Hotel Design of the Year. On 22 April, it will be revealed who has the most votes and the Independent Hotel Show Awards will be presented.
An independent expert jury selected this shortlist. From now on, votes can be cast via this link. You can do so until 21 April. This year's awards are again made possible by Hotek Hospitality Group.
The Independent Hotel Show Amsterdam is the annual event for the hospitality sector, aimed specifically at managers of luxury and boutique hotels from all over Europe. During this show, 200 carefully selected partners present the latest trends and innovations, complemented by an extensive and inspiring seminar programme. The event takes place on 22 and 23 April and is free of charge for hoteliers, architects and designers. The Independent Hotel Show will also be organised in London, Miami and Munich. In addition to the awards, this year for the first time the Hotel Influencers 100 announced, a list of the most influential people in the hotel industry.
Last year, Nicky and Derk van Westenbrugge of Parkzicht Hotel in Eindhoven, along with Robert-Jan Woltering of Hotel De L'Europe Amsterdam, were named Independent Hotelier of the Year. Cousins Boutique Hotel in Maastricht then picked up the award for Independent Hotel and The Church in Arnhem received an award for Best Hotel Design. And the Outstanding Contribution Award was for Marc van Gulick.
