Interface, Inc (NASDAQ: TILE), a global leader in flooring solutions and a leader in sustainability, introduces new nature-inspired colourways for its Woven Gradience™ carpet tile collection. The company is also launching the new LVT collection In The Mix™. This style combines the trendy look of terrazzo with the practical benefits of LVT, and is suitable for intensive use in commercial areas.
The Woven Gradience collection, inspired by biophylic design and natural colour transitions, has been expanded to include five base colours and seven gradients. The new colour palette builds on the successful first collection from 2021 and perfectly matches today's needs for commercial spaces. Modeled after nature, the Woven Gradience collection is designed to transform the way people move through spaces. The collection consists of two coordinating woven styles, designed to delineate spaces through unique colour gradients. The new palette offers bold statement colours, neutral tones and everything in between.
Kelly Simcox, Head of Global Design at Interface, says: "With Woven Gradience, interior designers can choose from styles that soothe, stimulate, calm or surprise. Subtle hues in the collection help to delineate spaces and direct movement. The wide colour palette gives designers endless options to match the flooring to specific project needs."
Woven Gradience is available in tile sizes of 50 cm x 50 cm. The CO₂-poor collection is Cradle to Cradle Certified® at level Silver, made with biobased materials and 100% recycled nylon. The CO₂ footprint is 3.57 kg CO₂e/m² with the CQuest™Bio-backing, and can even become CO₂-negative with the CQuestBioX-backing.
With In The Mix, Interface responds to the demand for terrazzo-inspired flooring that is more user-friendly and low-maintenance than the traditional variant. The new design is available in modular tile format, offering more design options while maintaining the signature terrazzo look. The LVT tiles are available in six neutral colours for endless design possibilities, from the cool and soothing light grey Oyster, to the extra warm dark brown accents in Cavern.
"Terrazzo is always in fashion. However, the traditional technique of mixing and pouring the material is too cumbersome for many commercial spaces," Simcox says. "With In The Mix, we make this classic look more accessible: modular, easy to install, low-maintenance and with soundproofing. As a result, this look is now suitable for more places."
In The Mix combines classic design, the convenience of LVT and smart pricing. Designed for high-traffic areas such as workplaces, hotels, or schools, the collection fits seamlessly with Interface' integrated portfolio of carpet tiles, LVT and nora® rubber flooring. The 4.5 mm thick floor features Interface' Ceramor+® ceramic grain coating, for improved wear and slip resistance. Interface' Sound Choice+™ backing offers the best noise reduction of floors in this class; it reduces impact noise by up to 19 dB, preventing noise pollution from adjacent floors and rooms. The product also has a low CO₂ footprint of 6.80 kg CO₂e/m². The 50 cm x 50 cm tiles are easy to install and maintain, offering a better solution for a variety of projects.
The expansion of Woven Gradience and the introduction of In The Mix validate Interface's promise of flooring solutions with a mission, without compromising on design, performance or sustainability.
