Outdoor living has evolved from a practical necessity to a fully-fledged design concept, seamlessly blending comfort, aesthetics and sustainability. NOA outdoor living, the high-end inspiration park in Kruisem, proves year after year how architecture, nature and technology merge into the perfect outdoor space. With an impressive 30,000 m² site, designed by landscape architect Koen Rygole of Buro Groen and concept agency Maister, and twelve themed gardens, NOA offers a realistic and inspiring setting in which the latest innovations in outdoor design become tangible. The NOA park is dominated by pioneering developments in smart technologies, circular materials and total architectural concepts, again cementing NOA's position as the reference in high-end outdoor living. 

Integrated approach

CEO Paul Renson aptly sums up the vision behind NOA: "Outdoor living is no longer a collection of individual products, but an integrated concept. NOA shows how we can live outside as comfortably and aesthetically as inside." 

That holistic approach translates into a setting where high-quality materials, smart technology and architecturally thoughtful concepts reinforce each other. "We are increasingly seeing the line between inside and outside being blurred," says Catherine Degreef, NOA manager. "Where you used to have a separate architect, landscaper and possibly an interior designer, today architects are expected to take a holistic view and integrate both indoor and outdoor spaces in their design. There is also a clear shift in priorities: in the past, the interior was finished first and the outdoor space came later, often as an afterthought. Today, we realise that both should be considered and designed together from the outset. The exterior is no longer an isolated addition, but a full and essential part of the whole."

Architectural signature

NOA is not only an experience park, but also an architectural masterpiece. Binst Architects' design is not only a visual statement, but also a functional space where architects, landscape designers and property developers come together to exchange knowledge and find inspiration. The floating garden pavilion - 380 metres long(!) - has become a recognisable landmark along the Ghent-Kortrijk axis and provides space not only for showrooms and experience spaces, but also for flexible meeting rooms, networking lounges and an auditorium for 300 people. Thanks to an ingenious sustainable water collection system, the park is green all year round, demonstrating that NOA is not only committed to design, but also to ecological entrepreneurship.

Degreef concludes: "With NOA outdoor living, we want to give architects a complete picture of all the possibilities right away. Our intention is to inspire them and bring them into contact with the various products and services of our partners. Ideally, they will discover this together with their clients, so that they can immediately see what can be realised in their own outdoor space."
