Where well-being, technology and personal attention come together

The luxury residential concept Residential Duynpark Castricum houses Vitality Fitness: a modern gym where residents and external members can go for training, relaxation and recovery. The facility is small-scale and offers a quiet, personal environment in which vitality is central. “Our vision is that physical and mental health are inseparable,” says Demi Paarlberg, co-founder and personal trainer. “We want to offer a place where people not only come to exercise, but can also relax and unwind mentally.”

The facility is open to both residents of the residential area and people from outside. Members range from young adults to those over 60, with a variety of goals: from recovery from burnout to improving overall fitness. “We find that people consciously choose an environment where peace, quality and personal attention come together,” says Paarlberg.

Besides free exercise, Duynpark Vitality Fitness offers small group classes, a swimming pool, sauna and access to physiotherapy. Everything focuses on a holistic approach to health, with room for both exercise and recovery.

Smart technology as a training partner

Technogym was deliberately chosen when furnishing the facility. “Their equipment fits our mission perfectly: innovative, user-friendly and stylish,” says Paarlberg. “The AI-controlled Biostrength machines automatically adjust to the user's level and provide instant feedback. That motivates and makes progress insightful.”

The choice of Technogym was an easy one. “I already had experience with Biostrength and was always enthusiastic. It offers exactly what we are looking for: technology that supports, inspires and contributes to a high-quality experience.” The equipment was installed before the opening, allowing members to benefit from the smart technology from day one.

A place where experience and results come together

The AI-controlled Biostrength equipment and interactive Excite Live cardio machines are favourites among members. “The automatic resistance, interactive screen and clear feedback make training more fun and effective,” says Paarlberg. “The ability to follow virtual routes during cardio training is also considered very pleasant.”

Although the facility has only been open for a short time, Paarlberg finds that the equipment contributes to a strong customer experience. “We see that people stay motivated and enjoy coming back. The technology helps them train independently and purposefully, while we guide them where necessary.”

The collaboration with Technogym is seen as valuable. “It is more than a supplier. They think along, inspire and strengthen our mission. Together we are building a place where health, technology and experience come together; for residents as well as athletes from outside.”
