Technology and design as new standard in guest experience

Hotel wellness is about more than hot and cold. According to KLAFS, it is about total experiences that touch body and mind. This automatic infusion system makes the traditional infusion ceremony, normally performed by a sauna master, possible at any time. Advanced technology distributes water with fragrances over the sauna stones and atomises them, while integrated air vortex units spread the hot vapour quickly and evenly in the cabin. The result: consistent quality without additional staff.

Surrounded by ice mist or fragrant clouds

The new FRIMAS ice mist bath also follows suit. In a 0-5°C cabin, guests are surrounded by blue light accents, an ice wall with mist, ice mint scent and optionally even a snow and mist shower and an ice fountain. The cool-down is mild, sensory and, according to Phillip Rock, CEO of KLAFS, is the perfect transition after the heat of the sauna, allowing the body to be better balanced. “A simple sauna is no longer enough today. Guests are looking for a place that combines ambience and design with a high level of relaxation. Our aim is to give hotels the tools to make this happen, with smart technology and an experience that stimulates all the senses.”

Another example is the foam steam bath ESPURO®, a world first that adds a new dimension to the wellness offer. Guests literally sit in clouds of fragrant, caring foam up to chest height. Combined with light, scent and sound, it creates a ritual that is both relaxing and nurturing. The natural, vegan ingredients are gentle on the skin.

Design and technology: wellness as a calling card

In addition to functional innovations, KLAFS invests in aesthetics and customisation. Hotels can opt for various floating sauna benches, atmospheric LED lighting and even 3D laser engraving in wooden walls or benches, to completely match the character of the hotel.
