Sometimes a single moment can change your life. During a summer evening in Florence, Vet and Van den Nieuwenhof came across an old family recipe for limoncello. Back in the Netherlands, they knew that this flavour had to be shared. That's how Che Dona Luce came into being, a handmade and award-winning limoncello made from organic lemons from southern Italy, carefully selected by their friends at Philips Fruittuin.
Each bottle features a light bulb, a nod to their home base of Eindhoven, the City of Light. In addition to their limoncello, Vet and Van den Nieuwenhof organise workshops in which they introduce people to the craft, history and magic of Italy. The name says it all: Che Dona Luce, “limoncello that gives light”, a symbol of connection, warmth and shared moments.
