NENI officially opens its second branch at Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam today

Amsterdam, 9 September 2026 – NENI Centrum officially opens its doors today. Kimpton De Witt thus welcomes the second branch of this popular restaurant concept. Following its success in Amsterdam-Zuid, the brand is now bringing its much-loved atmosphere and Eastern Mediterranean cuisine to the bustling city centre.

A living room for local residents and travellers

The new venue on Nieuwendijk caters to a wide range of visitors: from local residents in Centrum and neighbouring districts to hotel guests and international travellers. From lunchtime until late in the evening, guests can look forward to the familiar menu featuring Eastern Mediterranean-inspired dishes designed to be shared.

Owners Ronald Huiskamp and Omer Kaddouri have reacted enthusiastically to the opening: “It’s wonderful to see how the iconic NENI hospitality has come to life in this fantastic spot in the city centre. The whole team has worked incredibly hard to recreate the warm atmosphere of Zuid here too, whilst adding a unique dynamic that fits perfectly with this location.”

A new culinary meeting place

Kimpton De Witt Hotel is also looking forward to the opening with great pride. The contemporary interior, designed by the design agency Concrete, is characterised by warm Mediterranean earth tones, atmospheric lighting and a striking open kitchen. This inviting setting perfectly blends NENI’s identity with the dynamism of the city centre. Restaurant manager Maarten de Jong adds: “Our team is absolutely raring to go. From today, the kitchen will be in full swing and we’re ready to welcome everyone for a quick lunch, a leisurely aperitivo or a relaxed dinner.”

NENI Centrum is located on the ground floor of Kimpton de Witt Amsterdam at Nieuwendijk 60 in Amsterdam and is open daily from 12:00 to 00:00 for lunch, aperitivo and dinner.
