From innovative hotel concepts and circular design to artificial intelligence and the future of wellness. EquipHotel 2026 brings the international hospitality sector together in Paris. With over 1,200 exhibitors, 80,000 m² of exhibition space and an extensive programme brimming with inspiration and networking opportunities, the trade fair promises once again to be a key event for hoteliers, investors, architects and other hospitality professionals. The central theme of this edition is ‘L’Hospitalité Plurielle’: hospitality in all its facets.
EquipHotel is recognised as one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for the hotel and hospitality sector. The event stands out for its broad, multidisciplinary approach, centred on four key pillars: wellness, design, foodservice and technology. International market leaders and innovative newcomers showcase their latest products, services and concepts there.
But EquipHotel is about more than just discovering new products. The trade fair also offers hotel operators and other professionals practical guidance on current challenges, ranging from refurbishment and new builds to sustainability, changing guest expectations and technological developments.
It is no coincidence that EquipHotel takes place in Paris. The French capital is a key testing ground for new forms of hospitality. From the transformation of existing buildings to innovative lifestyle hotels and multifunctional hospitality concepts: the city demonstrates how the hotel sector continues to evolve.
During EquipHotel, a range of leading projects and market developments are highlighted. The conference programme offers visitors the opportunity to learn about new business models, exchange experiences and explore which international developments are of interest to their own businesses.
For Dutch hoteliers, the trade fair therefore offers not only inspiration, but also the opportunity to gain practical ideas for future investments and developments.
One of the notable innovations at EquipHotel 2026 is the introduction of Exclusive Collection, a special section of the trade fair focused on the upmarket hotel sector.
Among other things, the exhibition is on display here Do Not Disturb, In Praise of Intimacy central. This special presentation is being organised in collaboration with Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant, a French quality mark for businesses demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship.
The design brings together a number of renowned figures, including architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte of Wilmotte & Associés, Maison A&G, interior architect Paul Emilieu of Emilieu Studio and designer Mathilde de l’Ecotais.
The exhibition explores how luxury, intimacy, aesthetics and craftsmanship come together in the contemporary hotel experience. In doing so, the concept ties in with a broader trend within the luxury sector: the shift from traditional luxury towards personalised, distinctive and meaningful experiences.

Sustainability will also feature prominently on the exhibition floor. Whilst sustainability has long been primarily about ambitions and targets, the focus is increasingly shifting towards practical applications within hotel development, design and operations.
At EquipHotel, Emilieu Studio will be demonstrating how circular design principles can be integrated into hospitality environments. This involves not only the use and reuse of materials, but also the choice of suppliers, the layout of spaces and the available budget.
In addition, the trade fair offers special visitor itineraries and conferences focusing on sustainability and corporate social responsibility. The aim is to provide professionals with practical insights that will enable them to make their hotel or hospitality concept more future-proof.
Technology is having an ever-greater impact on the hotel sector. Artificial intelligence, automation and data-driven applications are changing the way hotels are run and how guests experience their stay.
EquipHotel 2026 will therefore be dedicating a special day to AI and technology. In collaboration with the US organisation Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), the key technological developments and their impact on the hospitality sector will be discussed.
The focus is, amongst other things, on improving the guest experience, organising hotel processes more efficiently and enhancing operational performance.
As such, the programme does not focus exclusively on technological innovations, but primarily on how hotel operators can actually put these solutions into practice.
