BBB Maastricht 2026 gave the Netherlands and Belgium a taste of something special!

Three days packed with flavour, inspiration, innovation and networking

During BBB Maastricht, hospitality professionals from the Netherlands and Belgium came together to find out what’s happening in their sector. From MICHELIN stars and culinary battles to new hospitality trends, regional gastronomy and innovative products: BBB Maastricht 2026 offered plenty of inspiration for the workplace. There was plenty of tasting, discovery and knowledge-sharing, and visitors found plenty of inspiration. Watch the aftermovie and relive the highlights of this year’s event.

MICHELIN stars in the spotlight

The MICHELIN Guide Ceremony 2026 was one of the highlights of BBB Maastricht. The new selection for the MICHELIN Guide Netherlands was announced, featuring new MICHELIN stars, Bib Gourmands and MICHELIN Awards.

Among other things Suis was awarded two stars and Ambrozijn in Valkenburg was awarded his first MICHELIN star. A special moment for Dutch gastronomy and for Limburg.

This is what you experienced at BBB Maastricht 2026

During the Chef’s Talk x BBB Maastricht Podcast Host Karim Homri spoke to chefs and hospitality professionals about what’s really going on in the hospitality industry. Among others, Yuri Wattimena from Restaurant YANO and Wout Bru shared their views and experiences.

The Trend Tours provided plenty of inspiration. With routes such as Future-proof Hospitality, Regional EN From Bar to Drinks Visitors discovered the latest developments: from AI and automation to regional produce, local craftsmanship and non-alcoholic alternatives.

And, of course, there was plenty of scope for culinary spectacle. During the Gulpener Beer & Food Battle the focus was on the combination of beer and fine dining. At the UNOX ETN Innovation Award showed young chefs how craftsmanship and creativity come together in their dishes.

On to BBB Maastricht 2027
