The 2025 Christmas and New Year programme

As the days grow shorter and twinkling lights illuminate Amsterdam's canals and streets, the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky on Dam Square transforms into a true winter décor. From 1 November to 4 January, the iconic hotel fully immerses itself in Christmas atmospheres with a sparkling Christmas programme full of culinary and festive highlights.

Guests can look forward to sophisticated Christmas dinners and brunches at Michelin-starred restaurant The White Room, atmospheric Afternoon Teas at Grand Café Krasnapolsky, festive cocktails at The Tailor Bar and enchanting moments in the historic Winter Garden. The Christmas 2025 programme promises a month full of magical moments and nights to remember - right in the heart of the capital. A special highlight this year is the new direct entrance from Dam Square to the Grand Café Krasnapolsky, which will open from December. This will allow lunch guests to step straight in from the square and enjoy the elegant ambience, without having to go through the hotel entrance.

The Cake Room & Anantara Krasnapolsky Advent Calendar | From November 1

Already from 1 November, The Cake Room, the hotel's patisserie, is offering festive creations for St Nicholas, Christmas and New Year. From the house-made chocolate letter to Mr Frosty and champagne truffles. Festive Afternoon Tea | Grand Café Krasnapolsky | 19 December - 4 January

During the Festive Afternoon Tea, enjoy a well-stocked etagere overlooking Dam Square. For €59 per person, the Grand Café presents a selection of delicacies and pastries, accompanied by a suitable tea, advised by the expert Grand Café team. Festive cocktails | The Tailor | 1 December - 4 January

Christmas brunches|The Winter Garden | 21, 25 and 26 December

A spectacular Christmas brunch with fruits de mer, charcuterie, various international dishes and four live cooking stations awaits in the historic Winter Garden. Christmas dinners | Grand Café Krasnapolsky | 24 - 26 December

On Christmas Eve and both Christmas days, the Grand Café will serve a four-course menu with, for example, crab salad or scallops, but the stewed pears are not to be missed either. Star dinner | The White Room | 24 - 26 December

Michelin-starred The White Room presents an exclusive five-course menu for €250 per person, with optional carefully curated wine pairings. On 26 December, a Michelin Christmas shared dining-style brunch will also be served with champagne and caviar (€139 per person). www.restaurantthewhiteroom.com

New Year's Eve | December 31

New Year's Eve dinner at the Winter Garden: here, a four-course menu is created by four of the hotel's top chefs, including Tristan de Boer with live music. €245 per person including wine pairing. Children under 12 enjoy a modified version for half price. Optionally, you can join the NYE Party in the Grand Café afterwards for €60 per person.

New Year's Eve dinner at The White Room: serves a six-course star dinner for €295 per person. Optionally accompanied by a superb wine package for €185 per person.

NYE Party Grand Café: For the first time, the Anantara Krasnpolsky's New Year's Eve party at the Grand Café will be the highlight of the evening. It kicks off at 10pm with DJ, snacks and views of Dam Square. €149 per person. Dress code: glitter and gold.

NYE cocktails at bar The Tailor: Cocktail party with DJ and countdown, entrance €25 from 8pm. Available without reservation.
