Unique Objects: where InCoDa’s creative story comes to life

Makers deserve a platform. A place where ideas, materials, craftsmanship and innovative designs come together. During InCoDa, which takes place from 21 to 23 September at Evenementenhal Gorinchem, Unique Objects will have plenty of space this year to showcase what’s happening and emerging in the world of makers and design. At InCoDa’s central Interieur Festival, an inspiring space will come to life where current developments, innovative ideas and extraordinary stories converge.

Mood.zine and InCoDa will jointly curate the selection of creators exhibiting at Unique Objects on the Festivalplein. This collaboration is perfectly in line with what Mood.zine stands for: connecting interior design professionals, brands and creators, and bringing to light the stories behind design, materials and creativity. In this way, the Festivalplein will become a place where creation, discovery and connection come together, and where craftsmanship and innovation reinforce one another.

Together with the circular design competition and the internship programme featuring masterclasses, Unique Objects forms the creative and innovative programme at the Festivalplein. A place where visitors not only discover unique objects, but are also introduced to the stories behind the designs, the creators and the developments that are shaping the future of our industry.

As part of Unique Objects, Mood.zine and InCoDa will be selecting and showcasing creators’ innovative designs, surprising materials and their own unique vision of creativity. In addition, participants in the circular design competition will be given a prominent spot on the Festival Square. Under the guidance of coach Jantien Broere and partner Interieur Carrière, they will demonstrate how circularity and creativity can reinforce one another.

The Talkspace also encourages deeper discussion and interaction. Here, creators, designers and other inspiring professionals share their vision, knowledge and experiences on current topics within the interior design and lifestyle sectors.

During InCoDa, the event and Mood.zine take visitors behind the scenes of the design process. In short talks, we’ll tell you more about the selected creators and the story behind their work. During inspirational tours with the creators, they’ll personally share their designs, working methods and motivations. There’ll be plenty of opportunity for meeting people, asking questions and interacting.
