MeetingReview, the leading independent review platform for the MICE sector, has announced the winners of the 2027 Provincial Awards. For each Dutch province and each capacity category, the meeting and event venues that have distinguished themselves most over the past year, based on guest experiences, have been selected
MeetingReview has been presenting the Provincie Awards for over ten years. The award is regarded as one of the most transparent accolades in the meetings and events sector. Whilst many awards are decided by juries or nominations, MeetingReview bases its results entirely on data: the reviews that guests themselves leave about their experience at a venue.

The ranking is determined using the reliability model that MeetingReview has been applying since 2014. A venue’s review score as at 1 September forms the basis, supplemented by points for the number of reviews received and the extent to which a venue actively acts on guest feedback. Venues are divided into five categories, from S to XXL, so that small and large venues are compared fairly. In each category per county, the award goes to the top three with the most points.
Marco Kole, co-founder of MeetingReview: “The Provincie Awards highlight which venues truly succeed in offering their guests a great experience. It’s not our opinion that counts, but that of the people who have actually held meetings or attended events there themselves. That’s what makes this award so special.”
The full results by province and category can be found on the MeetingReview website.
