The result of the joint creative process is a self-assured design statement with an innovative design, lighting and sound concept, polished to the finest detail with great passion and extreme care: the sauna S11 - Design by Studio F. A. Porsche. This exclusive sauna offers a sensory journey between heat, light, colour and sound and guarantees a magical wellness moment. The sauna cabin has high-quality outer walls in the metallic colour 'champagne' or can be built in as a customised solution. The exclusivity of the sauna S11 is underlined by a limited edition of 999 pieces and a unique S11 seal with edition number.

A. Porsche have designed an avant-garde sauna that validates the innovative and visionary strength of both parties.

Distinctive signature

With the Porsche 911, the founder of Studio F. A. Porsche, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, designed one of the most famous sports cars. To this day, his principles and distinctive signature flow through in the product design of Studio F. A. Porsche. Here clear lines, purism and elegance are paramount, but first and foremost the form must serve the function, according to the motto. In a joint project, KLAFS and Studio F. A. Porsche have now realised a visionary basic idea, which is uncompromisingly reflected in the new sauna S11. This new sauna is a reflection of purist, timeless forms and innovative technology, serving complete relaxation.

Timeless design and complete relaxation in perfect harmony

The basic idea is a perfect combination of design and function and the aim to harmonise original design with a unique sauna experience. The aim was to create an iconically designed classic that will fascinate people for decades to come with its unique aesthetic. The development of sauna S11 was therefore characterised not only by high-quality materials and workmanship, but also by timeless design with style-defining shapes. In this way, S11 reflects the needs of the time in which it was created.

An unforgettable sensory journey of warmth, light and sound

In our daily, hectic lives, the sauna offers an opportunity to recharge ourselves regularly. The world market leader succeeds in this by repeatedly creating natural stimuli in its wellness worlds in innovative ways, which have a particularly relaxing and beneficial effect. To realise this once again, KLAFS, together with Studio F. A. Porsche, has dealt intensively with the form and function of saunas and questioned everything that was previously known. The result is a sophisticated and completely new type of sauna cabin, which takes the user on a sensory journey between heat, light, colour and sound. These natural stimuli, which positively stimulate the body, connect in sauna S11 to create a holistic, soothing and perhaps even magical moment of relaxation.

Light wanders through space in a barely perceptible, slow and fluid manner. Like watching clouds drifting through the sky, losing yourself in the gentle change of colours. The calm movements relax the mind. Sauna bathers can choose from several ceremonies: 'Pulse of Nature', 'Magic Blue Sea', 'Night and Light', 'Relaxing Amber' and 'Colorful Senses'. Or they can enjoy their feel-good moment with an individually selected light mood. All ceremonies and personal light moods create a particularly intense sauna feeling in different ways and guide you to deep relaxation.

The colour worlds of the ceremonies are based on sensual experiences from nature: sun rays shimmering through treetops, gentle ocean waves moving rhythmically to the sound of the sea, gentle relaxation at dusk and fresh awakening in the golden dawn. Whatever sensory journey or lighting mood users choose, sauna S11 immerses them in an unprecedented world of wellness. Adam Bieta, Senior Designer at Studio F. A. Porsche, sums it up: "Light and sound sequences are uniquely combined with the design of floating wooden slats to allow the user to relax in a dissolving sense of space."

Inviting feel-good atmosphere

Along three sides of sauna S11 run carefully dimensioned, tilted, horizontal wooden slats. Behind them is a wall of traditional Japanese Washi paper. The translucent Washi paper, the floating recliners and the lighting technology specially developed for sauna S11 create an organic, warm feeling of endless width and depth. By combining these techniques, which are being used in a sauna for the first time, completely new and fascinating colour gradients can be created. The light behind the slats is refracted so softly and evenly that it gives the room a magical glow. "From every angle, the combination of the carefully dimensioned wooden slats, the rounded elements of the wall edges and the Washi paper looks different and invites you to let your gaze wander into the distance. This creates a unique, calm and relaxing atmosphere. The visual and acoustic effects thus have a particularly intense effect on the senses. Sauna visitors can withdraw completely into the world of well-being," confirms KLAFS CEO Phillip Rock.

For a harmonious, stylish living and wellness ambience

The frameless glass front gives the cabin extra spaciousness and elegance. The rounded elements, the smooth transitions between the loungers and walls and the concealed technology create a purist aesthetic. The sauna S11 is available as a free-standing variant with a stately, high-quality outer wall painted in several layers in the metallic colour 'champagne', or as a custom-made built-in variant. The highest production quality in terms of craftsmanship and technical precision, high-quality materials and great attention to detail are part of every production. With its unique interplay of form and function, this sauna is a true eye-catcher, fitting harmoniously into any home. The limited edition of 999 pieces and the S11 seal with edition number on a wooden slat further emphasise its exclusivity.

The sauna experience of the S11 is made complete with matching accessories. The NOOA sauna pouring set with bucket and ladle bears the signature of Studio F. A. Porsche - as does the NOOA Design by Studio F. A. Porsche pendant lamp, which creates an inviting light atmosphere above the sauna heater.
