The highly exclusive restaurant, hotel and residence formula Nobu Hospitality is coming to the Netherlands. Real estate developer and investor Breevast will develop the new location in Amsterdam-Zuid in collaboration with Nobu Hospitality. The formula, owned by chef and namesake Nobu Matsuhisa, movie star Robert de Niro and film producer Meir Teper, can already be found in several cities and exclusive destinations worldwide. In Amsterdam, Nobu Hospitality will open a restaurant and so-called Nobu-residences, high-end rental and owner-occupied flats with facilities and 24-hour service of a luxury hotel.
"We are honoured that a prestigious global brand like Nobu Hospitality chooses to partner with Breevast," says Henk Brouwer, CEO of Breevast. "The arrival of Nobu will not only be a tremendous asset for Amsterdam, but we are also bringing the concept of branded residences to the Netherlands. That Nobu has chosen our location confirms that our plans and designs for this project are of top quality."
"Amsterdam is a dynamic European location for Nobu with its vibrant culinary scene, cultural richness and subtle approach to luxury," said Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality. "We are delighted to partner with Breevast to offer Nobu Residences Park Meadows Amsterdam make it a reality; our first Nobu project in the Netherlands."
The development with two residential towers rises on the green and peaceful Beatrixpark, with the lively Beethovenstraat in Amsterdam-Zuid and the Zuidas a stone's throw away. The high-quality design is by architect Ben van Berkel of UNStudio. The interior was designed by London-based architecture firm SHH and Studio Piet Boon.
The east tower will consist of 19 floors of rental flats. The 17-storey west tower will house the owner-occupied flats. The flats will come in different types and sizes, ranging from 45 square metres to penthouses of over 500 square metres.
The towers will be connected by a corridor, in which various communal areas will be arranged. Residents can work there, get together or enjoy the beautiful view, among other things. Sales of the flats are scheduled to start in the second quarter of this year. Breevast, part of Frank Zweegers' ZBG Group, aims to deliver the project in mid-2027.
The owners of the Nobu Residences Park Meadows Amsterdam will soon be able to take advantage of a wide range of luxury facilities and services offered by Nobu Hospitality: furnishing, gym, spa, a concierge service and catering from the exclusive Japanese-Peruvian restaurant. The Nobu restaurant concept was developed by world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa, who innovated traditional Japanese gastronomy by combining it with exotic Peruvian ingredients.
Founded in 1963, Breevast recently celebrated its 60th anniversary as a real estate developer and investor. Breevast focuses on the development, realisation, investment and management of commercial and residential real estate in Europe and North America.
