Perfect flushing performance, easy installation
Geberit launches new models in the well-known Renova urinal series. They convince with innovative technology, perfect flushing performance and easy installation. The new urinals are available in three sizes and replace the current models Corso, Aller and Centaurus.
Flushless, timelessly elegant, optimised flushing performance, easy to install and compatible with existing installations. "The new urinals in the popular Renova series set new standards in functionality and installation technology," Geberit said.
An interdisciplinary Geberit team of plastics experts from Rapperswil-Jona (CH) and ceramics specialists from Koło (PL) spent months developing the perfect urinal. Thanks to the new flush distributor, a clean flush with just 0.5 litres of water is possible. What makes this innovation unique is that when the flush is activated, the outflowing water in the manifold opens a valve, after which the water is guided evenly through the ceramic. As soon as the water pressure drops, the valve closes again and so does the flush manifold, preventing water dripping and limescale build-up.
"For us it was important not only to refresh the range with the new Renova models, but also that we offer real innovation in the basic segment," Geberit said. The ergonomically designed urinal allows users to stand as close to the urinal as possible, which minimises splashing. In addition, the rimless design is hygienic and easy to clean.
Available in sizes S, M and L, the new urinals can be installed quickly and easily with the proven Kerafix fixing system. The pre-configured solution saves many assembly steps, thanks to its large tolerances. Geberit has strategically positioned the connections and drains of the new urinals so that they can be easily connected to existing installations of Geberit Corso, Aller or Centaurus urinals. When replacing other models, a connection set with adapter is used to allow flexible positioning of the water connection to existing connections. Adjustments to the installation behind the wall are not necessary.
The new ceramics are compatible with all Geberit urinal controls, both flush-mounted and surface-mounted. This means that the new models can be easily and cost-effectively integrated into existing installations.
With the introduction of the new urinals, Geberit control plates for urinals also get a new design and name. A new addition to the range is the elegant and slim Type 40 control plate, which is only 4 mm thick and available in ten different materials and colours.
