Sleeping in a piece of television history becomes a reality

The original caravan that Robert ten Brink used to surprise loved ones for years on the popular television programme All You Need Is Love is now available to book for a special overnight stay. This is a unique opportunity for anyone who has always wanted to sleep in a piece of Dutch television history. According to Mark Borgman, marketing manager at Vipio, the authentic aluminium caravan is still fully recognisable to fans of the programme. “As soon as you step inside, you immediately see the famous red seating area where participants watched their touching love messages. Now this is the place where guests can enjoy a champagne breakfast together. The caravan has been modified in a few places so that you can spend the night in comfort, including a lovely double bed where the director's area used to be.”

The programme All You Need Is Love has been a fixture on television for more than thirty years, and this year too, more than two million viewers are expected to tune in for the beloved Christmas special. Vipio is therefore counting on great interest in this unique accommodation experience. “This caravan is undoubtedly one of the most romantic places to stay in the Netherlands. We expect guests to book the caravan mainly for marriage proposals, wedding nights and other special moments,” says Borgman.
