Award ceremony

The awards will be presented on Thursday 29 October 2026, immediately following TravelPressentation in Maarssen — the annual media event that brings together more than a hundred travel media professionals.

„In 2025, we wanted to give a platform to the genuine, original travel story — the story that goes beyond a list or a caption. The response exceeded our expectations: over 200 entries in the first edition. Social media content has now become a fully-fledged medium for travel reporting, and we are delighted that Kirsten Jassies — the Netherlands” leading social media expert — will be judging the entries in that category this year,” said the organisers of the Dutch Travel Media Awards.
