Daily Trade Fair Venlo opened with great pomp - together with 120 ambassadors toasting to a successful first day of the fair

With a festive opening, Daily Trade Fair Venlo was spectacularly opened on Sunday 24 September. The initiative is already supported by as many as 120 ambassadors who were all present to represent their company or brand.

Daily Trade Fair Venlo, with its impressive 15,000 square metres of exhibition floor with beautiful showrooms and a culinary stage, offers a varied range of various exhibitors with products and services, aimed at the professional in the hospitality and interior design industry. Not only does Daily Trade Fair Venlo offer unique purchasing opportunities, it is also a true meeting place of, for and by professionals.
The day started with a bang followed by various ambassador activities. Such as live cooking demos in the culinary stage and restaurant The Stage, a fashion show featuring luxury hospitality business attire, a stage for speaker Hans Kuijten held in the Afmijnzaal, the former auction room. Visitors were treated to a lively and tasteful experience that reflected the versatility of the new concept.

Lex Ebus, founder and initiator, said, "The opening of Daily Trade Fair Venlo is a milestone for all of us. Several years ago we started with a vision, great to be able to celebrate this together now during this wonderful opening." 

Harm van Raaij, co-initiator, added: "To stand here with 120 ambassadors at the start of this concept, fantastic to see. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone involved in this project, and we would like to welcome all professionals from the hospitality and interior design industry to admire this concept we have created together." 

During the festive evening, glasses were raised with invited guests and all ambassadors. Alderman Erwin Boom of Economic and Social Affairs and Knowledge Infrastructure stressed the importance of initiatives like Daily Trade Fair Venlo, saying, "This is an exciting step for our city and an asset to this procurement area Venlo is known for." Dr Marcus Optendrenk, Minister der Finanzen des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, highlighted the international opportunities of Daily Trade Fair Venlo, saying, "This market has the potential to become an attraction point for professionals and visitors from Europe. It is a boost for regional and international trade." 

Visitors are most welcome during the second opening day on Monday 25 September. This day marks the start of Daily Trade Fair Venlo, which will be open 7 days a week from now on, packed with inspiration from, for and by professionals from the hospitality and interior design industry.
