How do you ensure optimum comfort for hotel guests whilst meeting increasingly stringent sustainability requirements? The Market Hotel by WestCord in Groningen found the answer back in 2019. The hotel opted for Mitsubishi Electric HVRF technology, low-GWP refrigerants and CO₂ heat pumps. Six years on, real-world experience shows that this choice still meets the requirements of both today and tomorrow.
At the ’t Kleine Zeetje leisure beach in Bunschoten-Spakenburg, the new Fletcher Hotel Spakenburg is gradually taking shape. The project, designed by AGB van Dijk and built by HBE Bouw, combines striking architecture with high-quality materials. Within this overall design, Aliplast’s aluminium joinery plays a key role, both aesthetically and technically.
A hundred-year-old water tower, a new hotel with 150 rooms, over 4,000 square metres of space for meetings, catering and conferences, and a landscape that is simultaneously undergoing radical change due to the reconstruction of the Hooipolder junction. At Postillion Hotel Breda Biesbosch, construction, restoration, interior design and area development literally come together. Just before the opening, it is becoming clear how a forgotten transport hub is being transformed into a new hospitality destination on the waterfront.
