Hilton appoints Jeroen Werdmölder as General Manager of Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam

Hilton announces the appointment of Jeroen Werdmölder as General Manager of Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam. With more than 20 years of experience in international luxury hotel management, he returns to the iconic canal hotel, where he played a key role in the opening in 2014.

Jeroen started last summer, succeeding Katharina Schlaipfer, who has been promoted to Vice President of Operations, Continental Europe at Hilton. In her new role, she is responsible for operations in Central and Eastern Europe.

He began his career at Waldorf Astoria New York and went on to work at some of the most prestigious hotels in the world. He worked on the reopening of The Plaza Hotel in New York, contributed significantly to the opening of Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, worked on the opening of Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and most recently held a management position at Mandarin Oriental New York. With his international experience, passion for hospitality and strong personal connection to Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, Werdmölder brings both strategic expertise and extensive brand experience.
