Satisfied with new cabinet's (hospitality) business policy
With the announcement of the coalition agreement of D66, VVD and CDA, Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN) is positive that the Cabinet has an eye for (hospitality) entrepreneurs.
It is good that the cabinet continues to tackle regulatory burden. We applaud that the cabinet dares to tackle major dossiers on the labour market. And that it specifically states that, besides job security for employees, agility for entrepreneurs is also important. We also think it is important that attention is paid to strengthening meeting places in towns and villages.
"We are positive that the coalition agreement reflects our raised issues. However, further elaboration is obviously necessary to ensure that the hospitality industry is given room to do business. We look forward to a constructive cooperation with the new Cabinet”, said KHN president Marijke Vuik.
On 18 November 2025, Horeca Netherlands presented the ‘menu’ to the House of Representatives, a five-course menu with the key ingredients for a strong, vibrant and future-proof hospitality industry. This we find what is needed.
