A pleasant room experience is a calling card for any hotel. The demand for materials that contribute to comfort and speech intelligibility is therefore increasing. Considerable investments are often made in the design of the room, while comfort is largely determined by acoustics. Asona brings these aspects together in high-quality ceiling solutions that optimise room acoustics and blend seamlessly into the design. The effect is immediately noticeable and guests find peace of mind again.
Many hotels have large rooms with high ceilings. It is then quite a challenge to find a high-quality sound-absorbing solution that dampens sound and reduces reverberation without compromising on design. Asona has developed innovative, sound-absorbing and completely seamless spray-on solutions that blend into the design of the room in such a way that they are, as it were, invisible and quietly do their job. You don't see it but you hear the effect, and above all: your guests experience the difference.
Asona offers two systems with various options in terms of colours and structure. The Sonaspray system involves spraying directly onto any possible surface in the desired colour, texture and thickness according to acoustic requirements. Sonaspray has been a leader in acoustic ceiling systems for many years. The other system, Sonacoustic, is an ultra smooth spray-on solution with a luxurious appearance that is sprayed onto a mineral wool backing. Again, various colour schemes are available. Both solutions perfectly complement the design. They precisely follow the contours and shapes of the existing ceiling, whether straight or rounded, domed, undulating or with interruptions.
In terms of sustainability, these spray-on solutions have major advantages. With a cradle to cradle 'bronze' certificate, Asona has given the spray-on ceiling system Sonaspray a big ecological boost. Sonaspray contains both plant-based fibres and water-based components, and already comprises 80% of recycled material. In addition, it uses 'pre-consumer' paper consisting of residual material from the paper processing industry. Not for nothing has Sonaspray been awarded the prestigious US Greenguard Gold certificate.
Sonacoustic contains a finish consisting largely of recycled cotton fibres. These fibres come from the cutting waste from the manufacture of cotton garments and are therefore not discarded.
Creating a contrasting effect by applying unusual colours and shapes? That too is possible with Asona's solutions. Spotlights and lamps can be beautifully integrated. Pipes and beams can, if desired, be included in the paintwork or remain visible by working around them. The possibilities for achieving the desired visual effect and comfort are basically endless.
