The Art of Dining is a tantalising dinner show that intertwines art, technology and gastronomy. The evening consists of seven courses, with each course inspired by a masterpiece by great artists such as Picasso, Michelangelo and Banksy. Having successfully visited cities such as Munich, Hong Kong and Dubai, the dinner show is now being launched in the Netherlands for the first time. The event has been hosted at Atelier JAQ at the Hilton Rotterdam since this week. Until the end of the year, SevenPaintings is already almost completely sold out.

SevenPaintings is much more than just a dinner party. Guests become part of an artistic story full of colour, emotion and creativity. During this two-and-a-half-hour experience, they listen to fascinating stories, paint with them and solve puzzles that take them even deeper into the world of art. The other artists featured during the evening are Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Dalí and Vincent van Gogh. The dishes served are tailored to the artist's country of origin.
“Combining art and gastronomy requires precision and creativity,” says Ralph van Hattem, F&B Manager of Atelier JAQ. “We have developed dishes for each artist that honour their country and style. From Italian influences with Michelangelo to Spanish flavours with Dalí, each plate is a tribute to the master and his roots.”

SevenPaintings combines sophisticated flavours with innovative technology and artistic expression. The team makes each course not only a culinary surprise but also a visual and sensory feast. In addition to the seven artwork-based courses, Atelier JAQ offers tailor-made wine pairings at dinner that further enhance the story of each artwork. In addition, cocktails based on the artworks will be served and the artworks also feature on the dresses of the team of waitresses. It makes SevenPaintings a perfect opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable evening and the art of high-end gastronomy with friends, family or colleagues.
“It was a fascinating challenge to create seven courses that are not only culinary excellence, but also perfectly match the works of art and the artists” countries of origin. We want guests to not only taste, but literally experience the art on their plates. Each dish tells its own story and enhances the emotion of the artwork," van Hattem said.
The price is from EUR 149 p.p. and the show will be given in English. A separate menu will be prepared for vegetarian visitors and children.
