New CEO for Minor Hotels Europe & Americas

Minor Hotels, formerly known as NH Hotel Group, has announced that Gonzalo Aguilar will become the new CEO of Minor Hotels Europe & Americas from 1 January 2025. He succeeds Ramón Aragonés, who will retire at the end of this year. Aragonés will remain active as a member of the board and as non-executive vice-president. Aguilar will begin a three-month handover with Aragonés on 1 October.

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, praised Aragonés for his years of dedication and transformative leadership since 2009. About Aguilar, he said, "Gonzalo's extensive experience and leadership in the hotel sector will be crucial to the future success of Minor Hotels Europe & Armericas." 
Aguilar brings more than 30 years of experience from Marriott, where he was responsible for growth and record profits as chief operating officer for EMEA. He has held several key positions and began his career with Marriott in the US in 1994.
