New to the heroal OR terrace roofing system range is the so-called 'roof edge connector set', which allows two roof edge profiles to be connected. "As a result, a terrace roof can be as much as 12 metres wide," says Kamphuis. 

Effective protection against heat, sun and UV rays

To provide protection from the sun and UV rays even on hot days, terrace roofs from heroal for the hospitality industry can be fitted with awnings that keep out direct sun rays as well as heat, wind and insects. "The vertical screen heroal VS Z OR is optimally matched to the heroal OR terrace roof and can be fitted with viewing windows for better visibility," explains Kamphuis. "With an overhead awning heroal HS, mounted on the roof, reliable protection from the sun and harmful UV rays is provided from the top. With the heroal VS Z OR combined with the heroal HS, overheating of the covered area on hot days can be prevented. A traverse makes it possible to connect two guide rails for screens. Thus, the end user can theoretically mount as many installations side by side as desired. Thanks to innovative zip technology, heroal's awning solutions are durable and stable, even in strong winds. From patio cover to summer garden

To make the step from terrace canopy to summer garden, heroal offers the sliding glass wall heroal S 20 C, which can be partially or completely opened or closed. This all-glass sliding wall can be realised with a barrier-free sill for barrier-free access to the garden and can also be combined with the heroal DS drainage system.
