The redevelopment of the iconic Hotel van Oranje on the Koningin Wilhelminaboulevard in Noordwijk aan Zee is in full swing. Following the start of the construction of Residences van Oranje in January, the large-scale renovation and expansion of the five-star hotel has now started.
The large-scale renovation and expansion of the five-star hotel is now in full swing. Led by construction group Horsman & co, a family business with deep roots in the Dune and Flowerbulb Region, the first visible steps have been taken. For instance, demolition work is currently being carried out, including the removal of old HSB walls and the careful dismantling of facade components.

Step by step, we are working towards a completely stripped concrete shell, which will serve as the foundation for the next construction phase of the renovated hotel in which Horsman & co will realise two extra floors and a completely new façade, roof and dome.
“With more than 130 years of experience, Horsman & co is a trusted development and construction partner in the region,” said Klaas Jan Veeken, spokesman for the HVO Hotel B.V. consortium. “Their local commitment and proven craftsmanship align perfectly with our vision for the renovated hotel.”
